Zodiac readyBabies due near Chinese New Year can belong to either zodiac year.

How accurate is a due date?

Only about 4–5% of babies arrive exactly on their due date — the majority arrive within a two-week window either side. First-time moms average ~40 weeks + 4 days. Early ultrasound (8–13 weeks) refines dating more accurately than any calendar rule, so treat this as a planning anchor, not a countdown calendar.

Why conception + 266 days?

Gestational age is counted from the last period (280 days), which includes roughly two weeks before ovulation. Actual fertilization-to-birth is ~266 days. Our calculator keeps both conventions straight — no off-by-two-weeks folklore math. Then head to the gender predictor to see what the chart would guess.
